Singer-actress Kamaliya Zahoor, wife of Kyiv Post publisher Mohammad Zahoor, hosted the most successful edition yet of her annual charity event on December 6. The 4th St. Nicholas Charity Night, held at the Hilton Kyiv, raised $50,000 through a combination of auction proceeds and ticket sales.
In addition to the funds raised, the Zahoors pledged to donate enough money to purchase 10 Draeger Siemens Infinity Delta XL patient monitors for the State Children's Cardiac Center in Kyiv. This center, which conducts 2,000 heart surgeries annually, requires more advanced equipment to meet its growing needs.
